new layout - what do you think?
Wednesday, September 20, 2006

This is the new, minimal design for our PLCMC teen forum blog. Hopefully soon it will be behind the firewall and ready for us to use as one of our main communication tools, but until then please share your feedback about the design in this public space.

Thanks,
Michele

I really like the clean look. However, I can see the rock star while using Firefox, but not when using IE. Anybody else having this problem?

I like it too. Simple and to the point. I am also having the same issue with the IE vs. Firefox. I think it has to do with how IE 6.0 is handling the XHTML coding (DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict) standard.

I think for some reason IE puts the white background in front of the guy graphic. Maybe there is an easy fix or maybe it isn't this issue at all. Regardless, if someone is aware of an easy fix that can be incorporated in the code, speak up.

If this is a big deal, I can do some more research into it.
