During the retreat, we learned of the rather large percentage of teens considering suicide. I was surprised and am wondering what is being done, or can be done. Maybe this survey could help researchers a bit. I don’t know if we could try to promote this study, but the stats will be interesting when it is complete.
Charlotte is one of the cities involved in the survey. Promote it to teens if you can.

I lost one of my best friends in my senior year of high school to suicide. It is a senseless thing...a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I hope that we can continue to do more to help teens cope with the stress and pressures of teen life! You guys are already doing a great job with teen read week and the gaming around the system!
